Hybrid Program

The Hybrid Program was developed in summer 2020 in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic and has been a massive success! It combines the basics of our Horse Discovery and Therapeutic Riding programs. During the Hybrid program, riders are partnered with staff to learn the basics of grooming and tacking up. Once they have helped get their horse ready, riders participate in a mounted therapeutic riding lesson with 3-4 other riders. The Hybrid program is considered to be an inclusive program, but priority is given to currently enrolled students, as well as students who meet the eligibility criteria of our therapeutic riding program. The Hybrid program only operates during the summer months, so if this sounds like an interesting opportunity to you, we recommend reaching out in the late spring to be added to our waitlist!
